When I was home visiting my family in January, my mom gave me a huge package of seeds, which I never thought I’d use, but I decided to try it to save some money on flowers this year, which I usually spend about $150 on each spring. Seedlings have been dominating my life for the past three months!

Since the end of March, every windowsill and table near a window have been covered in little plants. I’m trying to do the annuals that I use in large quantities, like dahlias (my favorite), verbena (close in second as a favorite), red petunias, allysum and zinnias. The pros tell you that you must have lights and sterilize your containers and soil, but I didn’t want it to be that complicated or expensive, so I tried not to think about it too much. Nearly everything came up, despite being a little leggy after a couple straight weeks of clouds, wind and rain.

Flushed with success over her #1 movie Obsessed at the box office this weekend, Beyonce was seen strolling around the streets of Vienna, Austria on a shopping trip. Presumably shopping for a complete pair of boots?

Someone needs to tell Pam Anderson she can look sexy without dressing skanky. Cottage cheese thighs, camel toe and boobs and bra spilling out of a too-tight shirt is just NOT attractive on an aging bimbo.

I saw a pic of her a couple of weeks ago that was from her pre-plastic days, probably when she was fresh in Hollywood. She looked sweet and innocent and cute and her lips were a sixteenth of the size they are now. What the hell happened?!

I think I just threw up in my mouth. Are there any ways left for Britney Spears to embarrass herself? During her Anaheim show, a camera picked up on the string dangling between Britney’s legs, making it obvious to the world that Miss Spears was hosting a visit from her Aunt Flo.

Seriously…Britney, Lady Gaga or any of you performers that wear leotards and jump around and spread your legs…make sure everything is TUCKED in!!

I’ve had some computer issues over the last couple of weeks where I can’t post in IE and Firefox is super, super slow. Uploading a pic is taking up to 3 minutes just to attach. I’m getting those issues figured out, but that’s not the only thing preventing me from posting.

My job comes with a lot of company events and now that summer is on it’s way, we’re seeing a major increase in those. There are many days, I’m getting up a 4AM, working until about 1 or 2PM, coming home for a nap and then I’ll be out working an event from 7PM-midnight, only to come home and get up at 4AM again. That’s been keeping me busy, but whenever I have time and there’s a nice day (or even a nice spell during the day), I’m also outside working on a major yard project I’m hoping to have done by May, in time to start my gardening.

I live in a rental that I will probably be buying. Whoever lived here originally obviously loved gardening and the place probably looked gorgeous at one time, but it’s probably been neglected for at LEAST 10 years. The bushes are severely overgrown; I even found a rhododendron (one of my favorites) after I trimmed down a Japanese quince bush! The perennial flowers beds have been growing and multiplying for years, so much that I couldn’t even get my little hand shovel down in there to dig them up.

Here’s a tip…if you need to majorly thin out your perennials, post them on Craigslist. I had at least 100 replies to my posting and the best part was that everyone who came to get them did the hard part of my clean up work, because I told them to bring their own shovels and DIG. There is still LOTS of work to be done, but it’s going to look fabulous once I get I get it finished. Today is going to be gorgeous, so the second I get off work, I’ll be out again, working until daylight and warmth is expired and then working another night event. Tomorrow, I will probably be in the yard the whole freakin’ day.

I’m getting dirty and loving every minute of it, but I’m ready to be back here and get some posting done…I’m missing my blog. Please keep checking back…I’ll be posting again very, very soon!

Natasha Richardson was hospitalized and is in critical condition at a hospital in Montreal following a skiing accident. As new details on Richardson’s accident are released, it seems she was walking around and feeling fine up to an hour after the accident.

While we wish Richardson a swift and complete recovery, her accident made us recall some other celebrities who never made it off the slopes alive.

England, a former Guess model, has also held roles in Dodgeball and Smokin’ Aces. She will also star in the upcoming G-Force and she will also act as a sideline reporter for XARM, Ripe TV’s mixed-martial arts show, starting November 19th.

Jennifer was born in Lancing, Michigan on July 11th, 1978, making her 30-years-old.

Danny Masterson and his girlfriend Bijou Phillips are engaged! Thirty-three-year-old Masterson asked Phillips, 28, this Saturday, according to Masterson’s rep.

The couple is starring in three indie films together, all due to be released this year: Wake, Made for Each Other and The Bridge to Nowhere.

Taylor Swift is freakin’ everywhere!  She’s  currently on the overseas leg of her Fearless tour, but tickets here in the states are selling at an alarming rate, she remains at the top of the charts and now she’s on the cover of the April 2009 issue of Allure Magazine!

Versatile actor Ron Silver passed away yesterday at age 62 of cancer. Silver is a Tony award winning, Emmy-nominated (3 times) actor best known for his Speed-the-Plow Broadway performance and a recurring role in The West Wing.

His recent feature credits include Ali, Reversal of Fortune Married To It, among others.
